About This Recipe

This delicious and healthy yogurt parfait recipe gets ready quickly and with few ingredients. Once you have homemade granola ready, then this recipe comes as a great saviour when you want to have something interesting and filling for your breakfast. We have already shared the recipe for homemade granola.

Once you have homemade granola ready, then you can prepare many healthy recipes with it – like yogurt parfait or healthy granola bars.

What is a Parfait ?

The dish Parfait originated in France and the word “parfait” actually means “perfect” in French. In France, parfait refers to a frozen dessert made from a base of sugar syrup, egg, and cream.

In the United States, it is made by layering cream, ice cream, and sometimes fruit. Recent trends in the United States have introduced a healthier version of this popular recipe, made by simply layering yogurt with granola, nuts, and/or fresh fruits. This version is sometimes called a yogurt parfait or fruit parfait.

How To Make Yogurt Parfait – Step By Step Recipe

Roughly chop plums and discard the seed. If you are assembling the parfait in a small bowl or glass, then chop them into small pieces. Alternatively, chop them in big chunks if you are assembling the parfait in a big bowl or glass.

Assemble parfait directly in a serving bowl or glass. Layer the parfait with granola, followed by hung curd and chopped plums. Repeat the layers if you are using a slightly big bowl or glass.  Finally, drizzle little honey on top and serve.
