This orange mint cooler is a very refreshing cooler that is perfect for summers. You will love the combination of flavours when you take the first sip – tanginess of oranges, sweetness of sugar and the zesty flavour of mint leaves.
We have added chaat masala and lemon juice to balance the sweetness of sugar plus to add a more tangy effect to our drink.
Mint or pudina is an herb that we should consume on a daily basis by including it in our daily meals because of its various healthy benefits. Variations for making Orange & Mint Cooler :
You can adjust the spices as per your taste and liking. Spices level will also vary according to the taste of oranges i.e. if your oranges are sour, then you may skip lemon juice and add more sugar instead. Likewise, if they are on the sweeter side, then reduce the quantity of sugar or skip instead. You may even add honey instead of sugar.

Ingredients (1 cup = 240 ml)
- 2 oranges
- ¼ cup mint leaves
- juice of half lemon
- ¼ teaspoon sugar
- ¼ teaspoon chaat masala
- ¼ teaspoon jeera/cumin seeds powder
- ½ cup water
- salt to taste
- ice cubes as required
- Peel oranges, remove white threads and seeds.
- Take orange slices and mint leaves in a mixer jar. Blend.
- Strain the mixture.
- To it add lemon juice, sugar, jeera powder, chaat masala and salt. Add water and adjust consistency and spices as per your taste.
- Mix well and serve chilled.
