About This Recipe

Preparation of basundi takes a bit longer since you have to reduce milk. But we have tried to reduce the cooking time and added milk powder as a thickening agent. Addition of milk powder to the milk helps in thickening it fast and thus reduces the cooking time.

We have added fresh mango pulp to this recipe, which makes this basundi even more flavorful and interesting. Also, this mango basundi recipe is perfect for summers, since we have added both mango puree and mango pieces to this lovely traditional sweet.

Addition of mango pulp or mango pieces to traditional sweets or desserts, make them more flavourful like Mango Shrikhand, 4-Ingredient Mango Pudding and Mango Strawberry Popsicles.
