Lunch Menu 2 | Stuffed Peas Paratha, Masala Dahi, Corn Capsicum Pulao

Easy and simple yet different lunch menu idea. Plan your weekend lunch with this stuffed paratha meal – Stuffed Peas Paratha, Masala Dahi, Corn Capsicum Pulao.

There are only 3 dishes in this thali, but it is still a complete meal by itself.

Pre-preparation

  1. Blanch peas for preparing matar paratha stuffing.
  2. Boil corn for pulao. Chop vegetables for pulao.
  3. Soak rice for pulao.
  4. You can temper curd and keep in refrigerator till serving.

Tips

  1. If you don’t want to make stuffed parathas, then you can mix the filling while making dough. In this way, you can enjoy this yummy parathas and you can be saved from the hassle of stuffing inside the parathas.
  2. Rest paratha dough for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Make sure stuffing/filling is not hot or warm while making parathas, otherwise it will be difficult to roll parathas.
  4. Don’t insert a spoon or fork in the rice, when it’s hot. By doing this, you will end up breaking the rice grains and the rice will get mashed. Let it cool down completely. Once it cools down, fluff it up with a fork.
