Caramel sauce is a pretty easy-to-make and a delectable sauce that goes well with any dessert, be it puddings, pies, ice creams, tarts. Homemade sauces are the best and if they are so easy to prepare and hassle free, why not make them on your own and enjoy.

This sauce requires just 3 ingredients to make. The only thing or the tricky part is to be a little patient while preparing this sauce.

How to prepare Caramel Sauce

First you need to melt the sugar completely. And you need to do this on a low flame. Once that is done, you just need to add cream and butter and mix. If while adding cream and butter, you find that the caramel has started to thicken and it is difficult to mix everything, again reheat on a low flame and keep stirring continuously.

We have used salted butter in the recipe and so haven’t added salt. But if you are using unsalted butter, then you can add pinch of salt.
