Raab (Traditional Gujarati Sweet Warm Drink)

Raab is a traditional Gujarati sweet warm drink with the goodness of whole wheat flour and jaggery. This is the sweet recipe that you can enjoy guilt-free and that gives you instant energy. This is a great option for kids and to-be mothers for building their immunity.

We have prepared raab with whole wheat flour. You can also prepare raab with bajra flour and ragi flour instead of whole wheat flour. Apart from giving you instant energy, raab works great for giving you relief from cough and cold. We have added only dry ginger powder (saunth powder). But if you want to consume raab for treating cold and cough, you can also add black pepper powder and ajwain (carom seeds).
