  • Take chopped chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 1 ½ minutes or till it melts. Remove from microwave and mix well.
  • If you still find some lumps micro for another 30 seconds - 1 minute.
  • If choosing stove top method, first boil water in a bowl. Place another bowl on top of it (make sure that the base of the bowl is not in contact with the water in the double boiler).
  • Add chopped chocolate to the bowl in the top. Keep stirring on a low flame, until the chocolate melts and becomes smooth.
  • Take 5 paper cupcake moulds/liners.

  • Repeat this for the remaining moulds as well.
  • Put the tray into the freezer section of refrigerator for 10-15 minutes or till the chocolate is firm.
  • Once the cups are set, apply second coat of melted chocolate in the moulds (The remaining melted chocolate must have hardened by now, so you can again microwave it for about 30 seconds to 1 minute).

  • Repeat this with the remaining cups.
  • Garnish with glazed cherry and chocolate vermicelli.
  • Serve chilled.

Notes

•Make sure to atleast apply two coats of chocolate to get perfect cups.
•Filling should be cold to avoid melting. Don’t pour hot filling into these cups.
