Almond Walnut Energy Bites 

These almond walnut energy balls are pretty quick and hassle-free bites that will give you instant energy and plus they are extremely healthy.

We just need to crush almonds and walnuts, mix them up with powdered rock sugar and ghee, make balls – and we are done. These bites are very good for kids as they are quite fussy about eating nuts and dry fruits, but we are sure if you offer them in the form of these bites, they will enjoy them.

Ingredients (1 cup = 240 ml) 

US Customary - Metric
  • ½ cup heaped walnuts
  • ½ cup heaped almonds
  • 1.5 tablespoon powdered rock sugar/mishri
  • 1 tablespoon ghee

Instructions
 

  • Take walnuts in a mixer jar and crush. Do not crush at a stretch, stop at every 10 seconds. Take crushed walnuts in a bowl.
  • In the same mixer jar, add almonds and crush them. Add them to the bowl containing crushed walnuts.
  • To it add powdered rock sugar and ghee. Mix well and make small round balls from it.
  • You may add more rock sugar if you prefer it sweeter. If you feel that it is difficult to make balls, you may add more ghee for binding.
  • Store these balls in an air-tight container.
