Orange Sandesh Recipe with step by step photos | orange sondesh – quick, easy and healthy sweet dish from bengali cuisine

Bengali sweets are loved by all. Sandesh is a very popular Bengali sweet that gets ready with just 2 ingredients – milk and sugar.

The speciality of sandesh (or sondesh) is that it gets ready very quickly and also requires very few ingredients. You can add any of your favourite flavours to this sweet to make it more interesting.

Orange Sandesh is a twist to the traditional Bengali sweet. The flavour of orange goes very well with this recipe and it tastes delectable. We have added fresh orange juice to this recipe, if you want you may even add store bough orange juice.

How to make Orange Sandesh Recipe | Step-wise process :

  • Heat milk in a thick bottomed pan and bring to a boil.
  • When it starts boiling, reduce the flame to low. Add lemon juice gradually and keep stirring. You will notice that slowly milk will curdle and whey will start to separate. If you observe that milk does not curdle, you may add more lemon juice.
  • Once whey is separated completely, remove the pan from the flame.
