No Bake Parle G Swiss Roll | no bake swiss rolls | easy swiss roll recipe 

These are easy-to-prepare swiss rolls that gets assembled quickly and requires few ingredients. We have used parle g biscuits for the outer layer, you may even use other biscuits like marie or any chocolate flavoured biscuits.

If you are using chocolate flavoured biscuits, then you can reduce the quantity of cocoa powder or can even skip it completely.

Ingredients (1 cup = 240 ml) 

US Customary - Metric

For the outer layer

  • 200 grams parle g biscuits



  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder



  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1.5 tablespoon powdered sugar



  • 1/3 cup milk

For the stuffing



  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut



  • 1 tablespoon butter



  • 1.5 tablespoon powdered sugar



  • 1-2 tablespoon milk

Instructions
 

For the outer layer

  • Roughly break parle g biscuits into 2-3 pieces and take them in a mixer/blender jar. Grind to a fine powder
  • Take the biscuit powder in a bowl and add cocoa
    powder, powdered sugar and butter. Gradually add milk and form a dough. Keep
    aside.

For the stuffing

  • In a bowl, take desiccated coconut, powdered sugar, butter and 1 tablespoon milk. Mix it well and keep it aside. If you find the mixture too dry, then add little milk.

Preparing Rolls

  • Place the chocolate dough between 2 butter paper sheets roll it into round of medium thickness.
  • Place the coconut stuffing and spread it evenly to all the sides.
  • Roll it tightly with the butter paper. Let it be covered with the butter paper. Keep into refrigerator for about 2 to 3 hours.
  • Cut into equal slices. Enjoy.
