
Custard Apple or sitaphal (sitafal) is a delicious fruit that has a hard and greenish-black exterior. It has a soft and creamy pulp inside with lots of seeds. Seeds are coated/covered with pulp. It is a time-consuming process to extract pulp and remove the seeds. But, today we are sharing a simple method through which you can easily remove seeds from custard apple and extract pulp. Health Benefits of Custard Apple
Custard apples offers many health benefits. They are rich in dietary fibers and antioxidants. Plus it’s a storehouse of vitamins like vitamin C, vitamin A, the B vitamins, iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, copper, carotenoids and flavonoids.

Stepwise Process
Divide custard apple into 2 parts and scoop the pulp (alongwith the seeds) using a spoon.
Put whipping blade of chopper jar and transfer pulp in chopper jar.

Blend for 1-2 minutes or till you notice that pulp and seeds are getting separated.
Now take a big bowl and place strainer on it. Take the pulp from the chopper jar in strainer. Using back of the spatula/spoon mash the pulp, to separate seeds from the pulp.

Smooth pulp will be collected in the bowl.
Now, remove the seeds with a spoon and discard them. Whatever pulp remains in the strainer can be collected with the spoon and transferred to the vessel.
Sitafal pulp is ready.
