Homemade Farali Flour Recipe | how to make vrat ka atta, farali flour recipe – Homemade flours are always better as compared to the store bought ones. This farali flour or vrat ka atta can be easily prepared at home. It just need 4 ingredients. You can prepare this flour in bulk and store in an air tight container. How to make Vrat ka Atta | Step-wise process :
- Wipe sama rice with a kitchen towel to remove any dust particles. Repeat this process with sabudana, and keep both separately.
- Take sama rice in a mixer jar and blend to a fine powder. Sift through a fine sieve. Some uncrushed sama granules will remain in the sieve.
- Put these remaining sama granules back in the mixer and add the sabudana and crush.
- Again sift the mixture through a fine sieve. Some granules will again remain in the sieve.
- Now add rajgara flour and singhare ka atta to the mixer jar along with the the sama+sago granules in the sieve and blend.
- Again sift the mixture through a fine sieve.
- Mix the flour collected in the bowl. Now the farali flour is ready. Store in an air-tight container.
- Some granules will still remain in the sieve. Collect them in a bowl and store in an air tight container. These will be crushed sama+sabudana granules. You can use these while making any of your favourite vrat recipes like – Sama Pulao, Sabudana Khichdi or Sama Kheer.

- ½ cup sama rice (barnyard millet)
- 2 tablespoon sabudana (sago pearls)
- ⅓ cup rajgira flour (amaranth flour)
- ¼ cup singhare ka atta (water chestnut flour)
