Makar Sankranti / Uttarayan Recipes

Makar Sankranti or Uttarayan falls on the same day i.e 14th January every year. Next day i.e.15th January is celebrated a Vasi Uttarayan. Makar Sankranti is the time of Kite flying and all are super excited to head to terrace or open spaces to fly kites. Makar Sankranti is celebrated with undhiyu, poori, shrikhand, chikki and many more delicacies.
