But then we thought we should share 2 sweets as we have 2 occasions, but finally ended up shortlisting 3 sweets.
So here we are with 3 easy and quick dry fruit sweets recipes that you can prepare for your Diwali get-together –

We have shaped them in cylindrical rolls but you can shape them as per your choice. All the recipes are hassle-free and quick so that you get enough time to spend with family and friends. You can even involve kids with you in making these.

3 Easy and Quick Dry Fruit Sweets – Diwali Special + Blog Anniversary

Ingredients (1 cup = 240 ml)
Date Cashew Rolls
- ½ cup milk
- 10-12 dates/khajur chopped
- ½ cup cashew powder + 1 tablespoon more for coating
- 1 tablespoon milk powder
- 1 teaspoon ghee
Coconut Dry Fruit Rolls
- 1 teaspoon ghee
- ½ cup desiccated coconut + 1 tablespoon more for coating
- ¼ cup mixed chopped nuts
- 1 tablespoon milk powder
- 1-2 tablespoon honey adjust as per taste
- 1 tablespoon milk
Chocolate Walnut Rolls
- 13-14 chocolate chip biscuits powdered
- ¼ cup walnuts chopped
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon milk powder
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- ½ - 1 teaspoon milk
- 2-3 chocolate chip biscuits powdered – for coating
Instructions
Date Cashew Rolls
- In a non-stick pan, combine milk and chopped dates. Cook on a medium flame and keep mashing dates with the help of a wooden spoon.
- You will notice that the mixture will start getting thick and will form a thick paste. At this point, reduce the flame to low and add cashew powder and milk powder. Mix well and keep stirring till mixture thickens.
- Add ghee, mix and cook till mixture leaves sides of the pan. Keep stirring continuously on low flame.
- Remove from flame and let the mixture cool down completely.
- Shape rolls from the mixture and roll them in cashew powder. You can even shape them in small round balls.
- Keep refrigerated and enjoy.
Coconut Dry Fruit Rolls
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan and add desiccated coconut. Cook on a low flame for 1-2 minutes. Keep stirring.
- Now add milk powder and mixed chopped nuts. We have used almonds and cashews. You can use any combination of your favourite nuts.
- Stir for about a minute and add honey. Cook and stir for about a minute and then add milk. Check the sweetness level and adjust the quantity of honey. If you find the mixture too dry then add little milk gradually.
- Cook till mixture thickens and forms a lump.
- Remove from flame and let the mixture cool down completely.
- Shape rolls from the mixture and roll them in desiccated coconut. You can even shape them in small round balls.
- Keep refrigerated and enjoy.
Chocolate Walnut Rolls
- In a wide bowl, add powdered biscuits, cocoa powder, milk powder, chopped walnuts and melted butter.
- Mix well with hands and form a dough like lump adding milk gradually. Start with ½ teaspoon milk, then add more milk, if required.
- Shape rolls from the mixture and roll them in biscuit powder. You can even shape them in small round balls.
- Keep refrigerated and enjoy.
