In a large bowl, combine water and pinch of salt. Soak spinach leaves/palak in it for 5 minutes. Chop the spinach leaves. Keep refrigerated.
Cut the tomatoes in medium sized cubes.
In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, lime juice, salt, sugar and chaat masala powder. Mix everything well with the help of a wooden spoon. Keep refrigerated.
At the time of serving, add chopped spinach to the salad, toss well and serve.

•You can adjust the seasoning as per your taste.•You can also add walnuts or roasted peanuts to give your salad a crunchy bite.
