Notes
Cook the mixture on low flame.
Do not overcook the mixture. Just when you see that the mixture has started leaving the sides of the pan and has begun to thicken, switch off the flame.
The pedas will be sticky on the day you prepare them, especially for the first 3-4 hours. They will taste best and achieve the required texture the next day.
Peda stays good at room temperature for 2-3 days. But if the whether is humid, we suggest to shift them to refrigerator on the end of Day 2. You can store them in refrigerator for 4-5 days. Just before serving, keep the pedas at room temperature for about 30 minutes and then serve.
This much quantity yields 8-9 medium sized peda or 10-12 small size pedas.
