cumin seeds/jeera

peanuts

curry leaves/kadi patta

split dalia/roasted chana dal

sesame seeds/til

teaspoon
asafoetida/hing
¼
teaspoon
red chilli powder
¼
teaspoon
turmeric powder/haldi

teaspoon
chaat masala
½
teaspoon
kitchen king masala
salt to taste

powdered sugar
Instructions
Crush khakhras into small pieces with your hands.
Heat oil in a pan. Add dry red chilli and mustard seeds. Once seeds crackles, add jeera and peanuts. Saute on a low-medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
Now add curry leaves and roasted gram dal. Saute on a low-medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
Then add sesame seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, hing, chaat masala, kitchen king masala and salt. Mix well.
Add crushed khakhras and mix.
Switch off the flame and add powdered sugar. Stir.
Khakhra Chivda is ready. Once cooled, store in an air-tight container.
